We had an early New Year's Eve dinner with Lenny's cousin Fran and her husband David, at the Celestino Ristaurante in Pasadena. We all had the seven-course prix fixe menu, which was wonderful. Marina ate everything, including the squid in the celery soup -- in fact she ate about one and a half meals because she also ate Donna's leftovers!

The three of us then retired to our hotel room, watched the ball fall at Times Square in New York (at 9pm our time), watched a movie, and then fell asleep before midnight. Ok, so we're not party animals, but we were happy.
