On the way back from the restaurant we discovered a whole "tent city" had sprouted up on Colorado Street along tomorrow's parade route. These brave people, provisioned variously with chairs, tents, fires, heaters, tarps, unbrellas, stoves and, one presumes, various forms of liquid reinforcements, intend to spend the night reserving their prime curbside viewing locations. Better them than us!
